Jodi Petrich

Training Consultant

Jodi Petrich is a freelance marketing consultant, specializing in event planning and promotions. Her strong background in communications includes five years of advertising and marketing experience, in addition to coursework including Society of Popular Culture, Media in the Global Age, Women's Studies, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication and Business/Professional Communication. Jodi's interest in the effects of media on women, particularly related to body image, originally led her to the National Institute on Media and the Family, where she has volunteered since September of 2003.

She has spent a great deal of time traveling and studying abroad, which has significantly influenced her easy-going and approachable nature. She is an extremely passionate, highly motivated individual with contagious enthusiasm for life and learning.

Jodi is a graduate of St. Olaf College where she received her B.A. in Communication and Management Studies. She is the youngest member currently serving on the Alumni Board of Directors at St. Olaf. She lives in Minneapolis, MN, but continues to travel as much as possible.
